Avec Tristesse 'On Hold'

Some band members are going through a difficult moment. For this reason, the band will enter a period of hibernation until the end of this year. Line-up changes will occur and they will be announced in a few weeks time. As for the new record, the band will continue recording it as soon as they're back, so expect it to surface some time around April/May 2006.
The band would like to apologize their friends and fans for any disappointments this news may bring. We dearly hope next year will bring more luck than this one.

New look / New record

The official Avec Tristesse web site will be temporarily simplified as you may see. The reason for this is due to its easy management while the band is recording their next studio effort.
And speaking of which, we can already fill you in with some information regarding their next album. First, the name will be "Use & Control" and some tracks are: So Beautiful I Just Can't Believe, Selfish, I've Learned To Hate, L'Âme Du Vin and Here Am I.
The release date is still hard to estimate, but we will keep you informed.

Fresh blood in Avec Tristesse!

The band is, once again, turning into a five-piece. After keyboardist Flávio Vizeu left the band in the beginning of 2005, the band continued as a four-piece and with live appearance by young keyboardist Rigel Romeu. As the relationship between Rigel and the band work very well, it was decided that he would be a fulltime member. Welcome aboard Rigel!
